Burnout creeps up on the sufferer, and shows itself as fatigue and overwhelm, a pulling-back or depersonalization, and a reduced performance. These are defence mechanisms that try to protect the person, yet actually result in amplifying and accelerating the burnout.
This is not a flaw in the person, it is a flaw in the system and a missing element in the training of the caregiver.

One-on-one Care Coaching
For the individual entering their new caregiver role, or for those already seeing the signs of burnout or compassion fatigue, this coaching program create dramatic and ongoing relief within 30 days. Ongoing coaching and tools are also provided on an as needed basis.
Lunch ‘n’ Learn
This program opens a dialogue within your organization and builds the awareness and basic Caregiver Mindset tools. Attendees will walk away with an understanding of how even the strongest and most talented caregivers can be affected by Burnout and Compassion Fatigue and the key pieces required to prevent it.
This 3-6 hour Workshop, leads participant through an understanding of the causes and symptoms of burnout, then swiftly into tools, frames, and attitudes that prevent the condition.
An interactive structure to this workshop allows participants to become involved in designing their own strategy and resources. Participants will also transform environmental triggers into reminders to do a check-in and reset of their Mindset to make the practice automatic and effortless.
